Brief Biography:
Mr Asane is a Christian and a Methodist. He was born in Cape Coast, in the Central Region of Ghana. He was trained and educated on the "kwabotwe hills" at Mfantsipim School where he obtained both GCE O & A-level Certificates in physical sciences. Having completed Mfantsipim, Mr Asane proceeded to the University of Cape Coast where he studied physical sciences which led to the award of B.Sc (Hons), physics degree. Having undergone practical training in lasers and physical technologies at T.U Clausthal, Germany, Mr Asane returned to Ghana and joined the Department of Physics of the University of Cape Coast as a Teaching Assistant and a Demonstrator. In the year 2009, Mr Asane completed a masters programme (M.Phil) in Nuclear Science at the University of Ghana. Until joining the Regent Community, Mr Asane served as a lecturer and a Teaching Assistant at the Radford University College and University of Ghana respectively. Mr Asane is married to Afua Afriyie and God has gifted them with a beautiful daughter, Nicole.

- Semiclassical Transport in semiconductor supperlattices
- Pollution studies using Nuclear Analytical Techniques such as Neutron Activation Analysis ( NAA), and X-Ray Fluorescence Analysis(XRF)
- Condensed Matter Physics
- Nanoscience Research
